As part of the Letní Letná festival.
KREPSKO theatre group presents the Prague premiere of Edgar's Echo - a performance inspired by the life and work of author Lewis Carroll (Charles Dodgson). KREPSKO conquers its own wonderland with a nightmarish twist, where nothing is quite as it seems.
KREPSKO has always been close to the circus and has performed at Letní Letná several times (The Smallest Woman on Earth, Mad Cup of Tea, Alma&Amanda, Dronte etc.). As well as stage techniques including illusion, puppetry, light design and original music, KREPSKO borrows circus elements, always to tell a strong story.
International theatre group KREPSKO was founded in 2001 in Prague. Starting with outrageous and brave improvisations, KREPSKO has created their own unique theatrical language based on enchanting atmospheres, dark fairytales and absurd tragicomical moments. They often use aspects of circus and puppet theatre to tell stories without words, and to reach the deepest secrets and emotions of the audience.
KREPSKO has created more than 20 shows, performed all around the world and garnered numerous awards.
