In August 2014, Ukrainian artist Olja Michaljuk visited her friend in the occupied city of Alchevsk in the heart of the Donbas region. An explosion at the Debalcevo station made it impossible for her to return to Kiev. The following days were marked by fear for her life and endless bad news about the wasted lives of young people. She shaped the experiences from her involuntary stay in a war zone into a production that combines documentary theatre with art installations.
