Komárek - Nejtek - Knoblochová
An alternative, musical/visual composition, inspired by live musical productions to silent film, where music is merely an illustrator, but becomes an integral part of the artistic environment. The connection of the sound of a baroque harpsichord with electronics, an experimental film projected on translucent, moving curtains and a specific light design creates one complex, emotional world for an inspiring experience ...
The project brings together three experienced artists of different genres and specializations: composer and pianist Michal Nejtek, harpsichordist Monika Knoblochová and lighting designer and creator of movement projects Jan Komárek.
Jan Komárek - concept, direction, film and light design
Michal Nejtek - music concept, harpsichord (harpsichord preparé), electronics
Monika Knoblochová - creation, harpsichord (harpsichord preparé), keyboard Rolland XP 50
The project was created with the support of the Ministry of Culture, the City of Prague and the State Fund for Culture.
