Igor Malijevský, Jaroslav Rudiš and guests
The literary cabaret EKG will be dedicated to Love and Distances on Sunday 7 November and Monday 8 November. The protagonists invited the poet Petr Hruška, the novelist Karel Kuna, the legendary head of the dining car Pavel Peterka and other guests to the Archa Theatre in Prague. Music by Kittchen!
We asked the protagonists, why Distances?
"According to the current cosmological model, we are all constantly moving away from each other," explains Malijevský.
"And that's why we decided to get a little closer to the distance together," adds Rudiš.
About the EKG
EKG is a literary and musical cabaret organized by Igor Malijevský and Jaroslav Rudiš in cooperation with the Archa Theatre since the beginning of 2007. EKG is today the most important Czech stage focused on living literature and consciously overlooks the boundaries between genres and generations. The protagonists keep the show on the border of literary reading, music evening and theater cabaret, each performance is a premiere and a finale at the same time. Improvisation, communication with the audience and the author's presentation of usually completely new texts by contemporary (not only) Czech writers play an important role.
