Laser Bros creates a synesthetic experience of linking laser projection and electrical sound waves generated in real time by an analogue modular synthesizer. It is a collaboration by Bernhard Rasinger a.k.a. BR Laser and Václav Peloušek from Bastl Instruments.

BR Laser is a project that reveals the beauty of wave shapes that the laser beam portrays as hypnotic two-dimensional shapes animated over time. These waveforms and their colours are generated on an analogue modular synthesizer, while generating a sound drone with synesthetic timing that is reflected in the laser projector beam. Peloušek is a musician and synthesizer researcher at Bastl Instruments and generates control signals in the Laser Bros project that transform laser drones into rhythmic music.
