This year’s V E K T R O S K O P takes us back to the 1980s. The decade of many technological and social changes, the decade which saw the advent of the MIDI standard (Musical Instrumental Digital Interface) but also the Chernobyl disaster that massively contributed to the collapse of the Soviet bloc.

On Saturday, June 18t, Robert Henke presents his project CBM 8032 AV. In a full-length performance, Henke applies contemporary mathematics and aesthetics to a cluster of five 1980s Commodore CBM 8032 computers.

"Everything presented in the project could have been done in 1980, but it took today’s cultural background to create this art form."

Afterparty at the small auditorium: HRTL + R22.
