"In every society there are topics that are not or should not be spoken of. Until a certain age you don't ask. Then you revolt and start asking."
The group of young artists 11:55 (read: five to twelve) has decided to open up a topic that has seemingly been resolved in Czech society, and thus to conclude the pulp trilogy which has been created over the years under the directorial guidance of Petra Tejnorová. Pulp no longer needs to be searched for in cheap brochures – we feel like we are living in it. It comes to us from our newspapers, magazines and screens, and our smartphones. People, tired of the complicated rigmarole of the post-Soviet development of our country, are once again looking for a simpler, more comprehensible world that does not ask questions. The young artists decided to start asking before we wake up one day and receive the answers readymade. They decided to become their own correspondents for the future. Script: Jan Tošovský, Petra Tejnorová and 11:55. Director: Petra Tejnorová.
